Winners announced: 2025 Children’s Art Competition

This summer, we once again invited young people aged 4–16 to take part in the Lucy Pittaway Children’s Art Competition – a chance for budding artists to showcase their creativity and see their work celebrated.

The theme for 2025 was “A Day in the Life of You”. We asked children to capture what makes their day special, whether it was baking with family, playing outside, or spending time with pets.

Inspiring the next generation

We believe giving young people opportunities like this is so important. It’s one way to encourage them to explore their creativity, and we work hard to make it simple for families and schools to get involved.

This year, we had hundreds of entries, and the standard was exceptional. It certainly gave Lucy a tough job when it came to choosing the winners!

And the winners are…

After much deliberation, Lucy Pittaway selected her winners:

  • Overall Winner: Kevin Kovacs (Age 9)

  • Age 4–6: Tily Johnson, Age 7–9: Kevin Kovacs, Age 10–12: Austin Gaunt. Age 13–16: Urban Townes

Each winner will receive an Artist Pack filled with Lucy Pittaway stationery and merchandise, and Kevin’s winning artwork will also be scanned, printed, and framed.

Thank you for taking part

A huge thank you to every child, family, and school who supported the competition. The creativity and enthusiasm shown this year were brilliant to see, and it’s always inspiring to witness how young people interpret the world around them through art.

We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
