Summer Art Competition!
Do you know of a budding artist aged 4-16 who loves creating? This summer, Lucy Pittaway has an exciting opportunity just for them! We’re thrilled to announce our summer art competition, “New Beginnings,” where one lucky winner will have their artwork scanned, printed, and framed.
What is “New Beginnings”?
This year’s theme is “New Beginnings.” Whether it’s a new sapling, a sunrise, a day at the seaside, or a new addition to the family, we want to see their interpretation of this beautiful theme.
How to Enter
Create Art:
We encourage creativity, and the use of any medium, based on the theme “New Beginnings.”
It should be no larger than A3.
Submit Art:
Email a photo to [email protected] with “New Beginnings” in the subject line.
In-Person: Hand in artwork at one of our art galleries in Brompton-On-Swale, Harrogate, Keswick, Richmond (North Yorkshire), Yarm, or York.
Upload art: Artwork can be uploaded via the landing page https://www.lucypittaway.co.uk/art-competition-2024
Please make sure to include the following details with any entry:
Entrant’s name and age, parent or guardian name, address, postcode, and email and telephone number.
And don’t forget to share this competition with friends and family who might be interested!
What Can You Win?
Age Group Prizes:
There will be winners in four age categories:
4-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years, and 13-16 years.
Each winner will receive an Artist Pack filled with Lucy Pittaway stationery and merchandise.
Overall Prize Winner:
From the age group winners, one talented artist will have their artwork printed, mounted, and framed. This incredible opportunity includes:
1. Digital capture of the original artwork.
2. Printing of artist proofs.
3. Selection of the final print.
4. In-house printing and framing.
The overall winner will receive three mounted Artist Proofs unique to them and a framed print of their final artwork.
Important Dates
Start Date: 1 July 2024
End Date: 31 August 2024
The winner will be announced by email and through Lucy Pittaway’s social channels in September.
