Wool Meet Again
This original has now been sold.
Medium: Soft Pastel on Board
A street full of rainbow coloured houses and red and yellow poppies, with hot air balloons on the horizonsees a crowd of woolly visitors on their way to brighter pastures. A nod to the current times we find ourselves in ‘Wool Meet Again' pays homage to the great British song of the second world war when families and loved ones found themselves separated. The title brings a twist to the original song title, to reflect that good humour that defines us in times of adversity. Today it's a different war we are fighting and we are separated once again. The painting is however, full of hope, that soon we can all meet again with family and friends and in big crowds, to celebrate just being together.
