Planting Roots for the Future
At the start of 2025, we set out to make every artwork count. For each piece sold, we planted a tree. As a result, we worked with veritree and Elysium to reach over 5,000 trees. In addition, 1,000 new trees took root at Swinton Estate, while the National Trust saw 600 more. Furthermore, our Tiny Forest project with Elysium began, bringing fresh inpetus to our goal of planting a tree for every print sold.
Making Art More Accessible
March brought a big change. We opened our Outlet store, so more people could own Lucy Pittaway art. Because of this, many found new favourites and enjoyed special offers throughout the year.
Celebrating Ten Years
This year marked a decade of Lucy Pittaway. To celebrate, we ran our biggest competition yet. Ten winners each received a Golden Ticket worth £1,000 of art. Thanks to the excitement and support from customers, it became a highlight.
Launching New Collections
This year, we launched two new collections: Living the Good Life and the Ladies Collection. The Ladies Collection marked a departure from Lucy’s usual style, exploring new themes and approaches. Both collections have been warmly received by customers and added fresh variety to our range.
On Screen and In the Spotlight
Lucy appeared on Channel 5’s The Yorkshire Vet with Julian Norton, unveiling “One Vet and His Dog.” Because of this feature, our work reached a wider audience and sparked great conversations.
Recognition
We were proud to win Business iQ’s Creative Business of the Year. Lucy also became Teesside regional heat winner for Business Person of the Year at the North East Business Awards. These honours reflect the hard work and passion behind every piece.
Marking a Railway Milestone
To celebrate 200 years of the passenger train, we launched Stockton and Darlington Railway 200 and Railway 200, in partnership with Newsquest. These pieces connect our art to local history and heritage.
Events
We hosted “Meet the Artist” events in Yarm, Richmond, and Harrogate. Always proving popular, they provide an opportunity for customers to meet Lucy and share stories face to face.
Fulfilling Partnerships
Throughout 2025, we collaborated with organisations like MFC, YCFC, Swinton Estate, Sally’s Cottages, Daisybeck Studios, The Herriot Hospice, and MND Association. Because of these partnerships, we reached new audiences and supported good causes.
Growing Our Audience and Supporting the MNDA
Our online following grew by over 20,000, reaching more than 108,000 people. Together, we raised over £28,000 for the MND Association, a charity close to Lucy’s heart. Clearly, your support made a real difference.
Thank you for making our review of 2025 so memorable. Your enthusiasm and feedback shaped every milestone. As we look ahead, we’re excited to share new art, stories, and experiences with you in the coming year.
