Young Artists Inspired by Brompton Gallery Visit

The Art Leaders from Brompton-on-Swale CE Primary School recently enjoyed a fun experience at Lucy Pittaway Limited’s Brompton gallery, immersing themselves in the world where art meets with imagination.

Guided by their inherent curiosity, these young budding artists witnessed the transformation of original artworks into stunning prints, gaining insight into the artistic process under the guidance of Lucy Pittaway herself. Their interaction with the acclaimed artist involved thoughtful questions, offering a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes magic of her creations.

Beyond the visual appeal, the paintings within the gallery held hidden elements — a playful pursuit to uncover concealed words and ladybirds added an intriguing layer to their visit. Additionally, encountering Lucy’s renowned sheep added an amusing slant to the overall experience, producing giggles and laughter from the young visitors.

The impact of this visit was great, igniting a spark of inspiration within the Art Leaders. Departing with minds brimming with newfound ideas, their exposure to the world of Lucy was an inspiring opportunity thanks to the company’s hospitality.

Appreciation is extended to Adam Firmin, Headmaster of Brompton-on-Swale CE Primary School, for helping to make this event happen.
