New Art: Ewe’ll Never Walk Alone

Lucy Pittaway’s latest addition to her football-themed collection celebrates one of the most meaningful moments in Liverpool FC’s recent history – their 20th league title, and the first time they’ve lifted the Premier League trophy in front of home fans in 35 years.

Titled Ewe’ll Never Walk Alone, the artwork features Lucy’s trademark sheep character standing proud. Dressed in the club’s iconic red and white scarf and bobble hat, the sheep is placed front and centre, gazing out with quiet strength and purpose. To the side, the unmistakable Premier League trophy sits in recognition of the club’s historic achievement.

The backdrop is a subtle yet powerful impression of Anfield, bathed in deep red with the stadium’s architecture drawn in clean, graphic lines – adding a sense of place without overwhelming the central figure. It’s a scene many Liverpool fans will instantly recognise, and one that nods to the heart of the club and its loyal supporters.

Like Toon BaaarmyLucy’s earlier tribute to Newcastle United – this piece blends humour, character, and club spirit in a way that’s uniquely her own. It’s not just about the win; it’s about what it means to the people who live and breathe it.

Whether you’re a lifelong Liverpool supporter or simply appreciate the story behind the moment, Ewe’ll Never Walk Alone is a fitting reminder of football’s power to unite and inspire.
