DESCRIPTION

The print is taken from the oil painting by Marcus May, "The Lying-in-State of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Officers of the Scots Guards standing Vigil". 

Set in Westminster Hall in September 2022, the painting depicts Yeomen of the Guard in the foreground with officers of the Scots Guards on the catafalque together with Gentlemen at Arms at the far end.

The relief guard can be seen approaching from the New Palace Yard end of Westminster Hall. 

The Fine Art Paper option is printed on archival-quality 315 gsm paper using industry-standard lightfast inks. The print is available in two sizes.
