DESCRIPTION
In Ha’way the Lads, the sheep stands in Sunderland Football Club’s red, white and black beside the Stadium of Light. The fan wall sits behind, built from supporter bricks that many fans recognise as part of the ground’s story. The Davy Lamp and black cat symbol appear within the scene, nodding to Wearside’s history and the identity of the club. The piece brings together the landmarks, colours and traditions that mean the most to Sunderland supporters.
