DESCRIPTION
This piece, titled Fog on the Tyne, captures a moment of calm on the River Tyne. The familiar form of the Tyne Bridge is softened by morning fog, while a lone figure in a red coat sits on a bench, looking out over the water. Above, autumn leaves add bursts of red, orange, and green to the misty scene, signalling the season’s change. The contrast between the crisp leaves and the soft fog creates a peaceful atmosphere, offering the viewer a moment of reflection by the riverbank.
