DESCRIPTION
Standing on Jersey’s southwest coast, La Corbière Lighthouse is a striking beacon against the Atlantic tides. Perched on a rocky outcrop and reached by a tidal causeway, it has guided sailors for over a century. In this artwork, Lucy Pittaway captures the lighthouse, rugged shoreline, and open sky. Along the beach, two children explore a rock pool while a black Labrador watches on, adding a quiet moment of life to the scene.
