Created as a commission for a family of four, Tale of the Tees includes landmarks in the North East such as High Force, Barnard Castle, Ribblehead viaduct, Roseberry Topping, Infinity Bridge and Saltburn on the East Coast. Two rowers are rowing along the river, watched by a family of four woolly spectators.
