One of my very first cycling paintings, inspired by the Grand Depart coming to Yorkshire in 2014. Pen Hill features in this piece as it helps put a location and context to the piece. The riders are wearing kit that reflected the teams at the time, including the SKY team kit and of course in infamous the yellow jersey.
