My very first painting of Richmond Castle in North Yorkshire. A simple piece showing the Keep on top of a rounded hill, simple lollipop style trees with the River Swale beneath them and Green Bridge spanning the water. Richmond is a place I have spent much of my life and the castle and river are magical places which hold great memories for me and my family.
