Nestled among the beautiful Yorkshire dales tucked beneath the majestic Pen hill, lies a jewel of a hotel and restaurant. The Wensleydale Heifer, located in the village of West Witton is an incredibly special place and this piece was specifically commissioned to sit in pride of place within their award-winning restaurant.
Its onlookers, a couple of Swaledale sheep and a little Robin, take in this peaceful setting and watch over the landscape which showcases the best of Wensleydale; rolling hills, quaint streams, wildflowers and the historic Bolton Castle.
This special piece was commissioned by Lewis and David Moss in 2022 to mark their 17th anniversary of the Wensleydale Heifer.
