DESCRIPTION
'Welcome to Yorkshire' the fifth and final piece from Lucy's Official Tour de Yorkshire 2018 art collection depicting the amazing support of the people of Yorkshire as the riders tackle the famous Park Rash climb.
This painting doesn’t really need much of a description as there’s less artistic license applied here and more of a realistic interpretation of the iconic hairpin bend. The sky plays a dominant role with the thick cloud hanging over the hills but I felt this was quite necessary to give the painting some depth and also quite typical of the weather pattern up there! For once the spectators really come into the pictures to highlight the support for the race and the riders and the waving of flags and road art etc show just how much the people of Yorkshire really love feeling part of the race and contributing to the atmosphere.

The Fine Art Paper option is printed on archival quality 315gsm paper using industry-standard lightfast inks. Each print comes personally signed by Lucy and is available in a number of sizes.
Alternatively, the Canvas option is printed using Canon Lucia Pro inks on 360gsm 100% cotton canvas and finished with Permajet satin varnish, ensuring a beautifully vibrant and durable piece.
