Edition size: 295

Medium: Soft Pastel on Paper

Date of Release: June 2015

As seen on BBC TV this piece was created as a tribute to my late father Willie Maddren, Middlesbrough Footballing Legend, who sadly passed away from MND in August 2000. The picture represents the pride I have for my Father and the red and white flowers represent the colours of his beloved Middlesbrough Football club. In the face of adversity (the black clouds) he always stayed strong and cheerful (represented by the bright sun shining on his back)."

The Original was put up for Silent Auction on August 15th 2015 at my solo exhibition at The Garden Rooms, Tennants, Leyburn, to raise funds for the charity Motor Neurone Disease Association. It was sold to the highest bidder at the end of the exhibition.
