Parent and child stand close together in a beautiful meadow of colourful flowers. The highland calf snuggles just under it’s mother’s nose, tucking itself in where its safe, its protector by its side. These highland cows are full of character, the adults having long fringes covering their eyes and the calves more representative of oversized teddy bears. They form a focal point to many British landscapes but are more widely seen in Scotland.
