Medium: Soft Pastel on Board


One of my 'Tour' inspired paintings for the 2016 collection. Showcasing a select few of the Northern landmarks to be seen on the route of the final stage. This painting includes the Transporter bridge, Roseberry Topping, The White Horse of Kilburn, Sutton Bank and surrounding landscape and coastline. A rider bears the Tour de Yorkshire colours and a couple of woolly spectators enjoy taking in the scenery and evening sun.
