Simple and honest, this painting depicts how many of us feel from time to time whether it be on the subject of relationships, jobs or our homes, we look at others and assume the grass is greener; wishing to be doing something else or looking like somebody else. Here one home is brighter, has more of a garden and looks more appealing and the grey neighbour looks less significant by comparisson.
