Through her brand-new partnership with reforestation organisation Veritree, Lucy has pledged to plant a tree for every piece of artwork sold - and aims to plant a quarter of a million trees worldwide over the next ten years. 

Lucy said: “As an organisation, we’re always looking at how we can give back, as well as look closely at how we can minimise our impact on the environment. We pledged in 2023 to plant a tree for every print of Sycamore Gap sold, and we were thrilled to see those trees planted to create the Lucy Pittaway Sycamore Gap Trail at Swinton Estate.

“But we had ambitions to do even more and knew we wanted to plant a tree for every piece of art sold. Partnering with veritree means that those trees will be planted in the areas where they will have the most impact.

“Our mission is to make restoring the planet simple, and help companies like Lucy Pittaway leverage their business for good. We’ve seen firsthand here in the UK the impact just one tree like Sycamore Gap can have on the community around it, and how keenly its loss can be felt.
