DESCRIPTION
Life is a journey of twists and turns, positives and negatives, back and forth, heaviness and lightness, all at once.
It weaves in and out of different places, like threads pulling through the same piece of fabric, each one bringing its own experience. This painting holds that mix: light and dark, soft and sharp, positive and negative sitting side by side rather than fighting each other.
Soft strokes carry the weightlessness. Darker tones anchor it. Both are needed to hold the piece together — the same way both are needed to hold a life together.

This artwork is an Artist’s Proof (AP) — a rare and highly collectable print taken from the same master as the limited edition, set aside separately for the artist, and not included in the main edition numbering. Artist’s Proofs are marked AP rather than numbered (for example, 10/150) and are signed by Lucy.
