On the 9th of April 2024, BBC Breakfast joined Lucy Pittaway in sowing the seeds of a new beginning, as she planted the first saplings at Swinton Estate.

Our mission...

With 600 trees already taking root, we're creating more than just art.

Our goal is to lovingly plant a woodland, with close to 2,400 trees.

Our journey doesn't end here, we're committed to continuing this green legacy, planting new life, one sapling at a time, for many years to come.
