An Artist Proof, commonly referred to as an AP, emerges as a result of the meticulous proofing stage every new title undergoes prior to its publication. In this phase, up to 20 APs are crafted, each boasting its own distinctive composition and variations in contrast, brightness, and saturation. These proofs serve the purpose of pinpointing the print that best replicates the original artwork, the one destined for the forthcoming print run of the title.
